OUTREACH

We exist to glorify Christ, and we want to see him exalted in our lives and in the world. We pursue holiness so as to spread a passion for God's supremacy in all things for the joy of all peoples in Jesus Christ. We glorify God most when he satisfies us most, so we want to see people's joy in Jesus increase to the praise of God. 

Since humanity's fall into sin, suffering has been commonplace. Christians are to care about all suffering in this world, especially eternal suffering. With this, justice is about giving to others what they deserve. Christians are to care about all injustice in this world, especially injustice against God. As Creator and King, God is worthy of all praise from every life, and missions exist because proper worship doesn't. We are devoted to praying for our neighborhoods and the nations and to seeking their greatest good with the gospel of Christ.

Sovereign Joy is strategically positioned to be a mobilizing and spreading church, and we are purposely becoming a body of committed believers who care about the people in Liberty and Kansas City northland and who send out church planters and missionaries for the sake of Christ's name. We love that Christ loves our neighbors and the nations, and we want to be used by him to spread that love.
